SMS Consent

This page describes how SMS consent is collected and documented for Glossed Beauty Staff Alerts.

  • An admin creates or edits each user in the internal portal.
  • The portal displays a dynamic checkbox that includes the user name: I, [USER_NAME], agree to receive SMS messages from Glossed Beauty.
  • Selecting the checkbox immediately opens a full disclosure modal.
  • Consent is stored only after explicit Agree. Decline keeps SMS disabled.

Verification and Records

  • Consent status is stored per user in the portal record.
  • When agreed, consent timestamp and consent version are recorded and retained for compliance review.
  • Glossed Beauty can verify consent records during campaign vetting or compliance checks.

  • Message frequency varies based on salon operations and appointment activity.
