Program Name

  • Glossed Beauty Staff Notifications

Program Description

  • This SMS program sends optional generic text notifications to Glossed Beauty staff when someone checks in or arrives for an appointment. Messages do not include the guest's name, phone number, appointment details, or other customer-identifying information. SMS alerts are optional and are not required for employment, scheduling, salon access, or receiving check-in alerts. Staff who do not opt in to SMS can receive the same alerts through internet-based browser push notifications. The program is for internal staff check-in alerts only and is not used for marketing campaigns, customer texting, analytics reporting, or peer-to-peer personal communication.

Opt-In Methods

  • Each staff member submits name and mobile number through the public form at /staff-sms-optin.
  • The form presents an unchecked SMS consent checkbox with clear disclosure language.
  • Staff must review the disclosure and explicitly agree before optional SMS alerts can be enabled.
  • Submitted requests are reviewed by admin before optional SMS staff alerts are enabled for an employee. Decline keeps SMS disabled.

Eligibility

  • This messaging program is intended only for Glossed Beauty employees who have provided consent.

Consent Requirements

  • Consent to receive optional SMS notifications is not transferable and is tied to the consenting employee's number.
  • SMS messaging is never enabled or sent unless consent is explicitly stored for that employee.
  • If consent is revoked, SMS is automatically disabled for that staff member until consent is granted again through the same opt-in flow.
  • SMS is not required for employment, scheduling, salon access, or receiving check-in alerts.
  • Staff who do not opt in to SMS can receive the same alerts through internet-based browser push notifications.
  • Consent records are retained for compliance and can be reviewed during audit or campaign vetting.

Message Frequency and Rates

  • Message frequency varies based on salon check-in activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan.

Opt-Out Instructions

  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out.
  • You may also use UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to stop receiving messages.
  • After opting out, you will no longer receive operational SMS notifications unless consent is re-enabled in the portal workflow.

Carrier Disclaimer

  • Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy and Data Handling

  • Mobile numbers and SMS consent data are used only for optional staff check-in and arrival alerts.
  • SMS alerts only say that someone checked in, arrived, or is waiting.
  • SMS alerts do not include the guest's name, phone number, appointment details, or other customer-identifying information.
  • Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
  • SMS consent and phone numbers are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • Data is shared only with providers needed to deliver SMS (for example, messaging platform and carrier partners).

Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these terms periodically.
  • Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date listed on this page.
